Dummies guide for using Slideshare Api using Ruby

unix timestamp => TS = Time.now.to_i
get hash => HASH = Digest::SHA1.hexdigest(sharedsecret+TS)
Api Key => AKEY


AKEY and sharedsecret will be mailed to you once you apply for API
